A New Crew Facing A New Challenge!

Team H2rOw was originally set up in 2007 by John Higson and Ant Clifford (although not officially named until 2010) to enter a team into the Atlantic Rowing Race 2011.

In June 2013 a newly formed crew are coming together to challenge the record for rowing  around mainland Great Britain in the GB Row 2013 race.

A very difficult record to beat of  26 days 21 hours and 14 minutes was set in 2005 by a 4-man crew.  The recognised race route (starting and finishing under Tower Bridge, London) has only ever been completed by this crew and one other, a team of 4 ladies in 2010 in Team H2rOw's old boat, Go Commando!  Further to these completions, a mens double also completed a circumnavigation of GB starting and finishing in Southampton.  Therefore to date, only 10 people have ever rowed the complete journey around mainland Great Britain, that is less people than have stepped on the surface of the moon!
